at the beginning i wasnt keen to go when my supervisor told me about it. didnt know how or why i changed my decision, hehe i went in the end, and im glad i made the right choice =)
again, this time mel and i tag along in lye cwan's altis, making our way to luna bar. wow! first time attending events representing the media! hehe. everyone got a door gift (some sketch book and a cute soft toy), i requested for a press kit to guide me on my write-up. lucky us, we got a strategic place for the whole catcha team to sit, located right next to the beautiful pool. While waiting for the thing to start, mel and I walked around to snap some photos of the environment. Luna bar-totally a great place for people to chill out, the sight and view from luna bar is beyond doubt breath-taking, especially when you look around to see the night scene of Kuala Lumpur. Climbing up to this VIP section, i saw this ntv7 presenter giving introduction on the event that night. Well, when she was done I approach her and we had a little talk. Actually I just wanted to get updates on will and kc, since they’ve been MIA in ntv7 for some time. Hehe. She told me both of them are doing some freelance job now, no more full time in ntv7. and surprisingly, she was also from kdu, she did twinning programme in murdoch and just graduated 3 months ago. She told me all about her life is murdoch, assignments, how she ended up in ntv7 and she was under will and kc for 3 and a half months! How cool is that!!! lyn you here me??? She was under will and kc!!! Anyway, the talk was quite fruitful.
halfway through we ended our conversation as I went down for the event. Was quite surprise to find out that the emcees were May wan and Choy wan, the famous twin sister VJ from MTV. Yea, they are what people labeled as ‘hot chick’, but not as hot as the models sashaying on stage later on! For me, that was the highlight of the night. While most of them have the fine body and height for a model, there are also 2 or 3 of them whom I think isn’t very satisfying, first they don’t have the height. But anyway, I still enjoy it very much. One of the models is this Cleo most eligible bachelor 06 and one more, a famous presenter form Wah Lai Toi.
now then, the next thing was just having fun walking around, meeting new peeps, snapping photos and grabbing some food to eat. I was quite surprise the models turn out to be very affable and responsive, they make the approach to know your name and so on.
Anyhow, later on, everyone from catcha start leaving, some of them like Karen have to get to another event at cynna plus mel’s bf was here to fetch her home already. I waited at the lobby for a while before my mum came.
