idiotic me

this was what happened during one of the phone calls that i made last week.

Me: Hello, good morning. I'm calling from Stuff magazine.
The receiver: Good morning. Ya.
Me: Ok, we would like to know the price for this Nokia mobile. Who can i speak to?
The receiver: Oh, ok, can you take this number down to get to the sales department? 7965384
Me: *while jotting down the number, i asked blurly "ok this number is for sales department right, so what is your APARTMENT ah?"
The receiver: Er... ah, erm.. sorry we dont have apartment here...
Me: *only to realize i made a mistake*

ok, the rest are plain 'sorrys' and saying 'good byes'... after that i burst out laughing, like hell, everyone around me was doing their thing quietly and seriously, i tried so hard not to be obvious in laughing, in the end i went to the toilet and while doing my business, i laughed as hard as i can, but still trying to be as silent and possible. and thats really tough. hehehe. during lunch, i told mel and chris about it, and there we go, all 3 laughing like mad, with chris throwing his fries at me saying how stupid i was. hehehehe.... thinking about it now, im actually laughing now. hehehe...
