tvb's 39th anniversary

tvb was celebrating its 39th anniversary tonight. and congratulations to sharmaine sheah, she grab two awards home - best actress and audiences' favourite actress. the mc, tutu jie, was saying just now that usually for a person who got audiences' best actress is very unlikely to get the best acress award. but i guess sharmaine prove her wrong. she went emotional and broke into tears when her name was annouced. on the other hand, i forgot the guy who got best actor award. he is quite low profile compared to other nominated actors just now. but his thank-you speech was really inspiring! he gave the audiences a very good piece of advice - that is to hold on to whatever dreams that you have, eventhough you're faced with a lot of closed-doors, if you could withhold such circumstances, once would eventually win at the end of the day. this piece of advice really struck me in the head. i always think im not good enough, esepcially in my field. and that these days i was quite troubled with the thought of me entering a university in a foreign land. i will always keep that advice it with me. =)
