my saturday was spent in the kaikan today. i travel by tram myself today, as anchal would be going later, luckily i managed to find my way there, thanks to gloria jeans, the landmark to get down off the tram =p
i joined the chanting session from 12-1.30pm. and then there was a short break before sensei's video commence. got to know some new friends, namely lilian and lyn. and they i went down to the book store to get a copy of Indigo (SGIA's monthly magazine, like Cosmic in Msia) and 2006 OYPC's DVD for my brother and went back again for video. after the video, the youth stayed back and had another 40 mins chanting session followed by a study meeting.
our dance practise starts after that. just a short and brief one today, managed to learn a few steps from mag, as she still needs time to finish choreograph the steps. by the way, we will be performing on the 18mac, celebration for 3.16. i think it's really cool, it's a western cum indian dance. where the 10 of us would split into 2 groups and sort of like challenging each other with dance moves.
for dinner, ly invited me to join them for lou sang at a restaurant nearby, called 'kota raya malaysia', it sounded so familiar to me. hehehe! anyway, thanks so much to her, i felt i was at home lou sang-ing with my family, just that this year i had it with different people. 2 indian and one australian joined us, and we were all busy explaining to them the significance of the 7th day in CNY and taught them the way to lou sang. hehe! they we're impressed that the chinese do have something like this to 'play' on CNY. it was during the dinner carol asked about my brother, and kean and vic was so surprise that gerard is my bro. haha. not surprising for me though. haha!
well, after the dinner, vic suggested to eat gelati. i just had it yesterday with ch and sis, and i really love it. can you imagine they make ferrero roche into ice cream???? anyway, 6 of us, traveled from elsternwick to lygon just to get a taste of the ice cream. it was full with people when we reach and i bumped into sw with her sis.
