The end of 3C

If you have been reading my previous post you might remember an entry about 3C program in my uni. Literally, 3C stands for Cross Culture Communication. it has started 8 weeks ago. And today is the final week, the social event and the cert presentation day. Over these weeks, i got to know new friends from different parts of the world. One in particular is from Iraq! my first ever friend from Iraq. haha. and others are like Pakistan, Taiwan, and some Malaysians. Well, i must say that this program needs a little improvement as to be honest, i dont think all their workshop is relevant to this program. but of course there are a few really good ones that i must highlight on. one in particular is we were taught the right way to attend an interview, which i think benefits people like me who know nuts about attending an interview. anyway, still, i think this program is a good approach in helping international students getting used to the work culture in australia. i even volunteered myself as one of the speakers, representing the international students, to share my experience in a conference for RMIT staff in the next two weeks. felt a bit nervous, but i think i can manage. this is not what i would normally do, volunteering myself to share experience in the public, but i guess i want to get out of my comfort zone to challenge myself. i want something to spice up my life, and i want to see myself doing something extraordinary after months of mundane, typical life in melbourne. also, thanks to my group mentor, he suggested me to give it a try and see how far can i go in taking challenges. so i did! =)
