evaluation
lets talk about what happen on sunday. i was late to jogging session that morning but it's good to learn that cy wasnt there yet, which means aerobics havent start. hehe. minutes later, sl and cy came rushing with a big cd player. we then had our aerobic exercise in front of choir room, led by cy, the master of joke in rc. and we did lots of funny funny movements, hehe. but it was good, sweat a lot though it's just about 15 mins exercise. and then went for breakfast together. this time around the whole table was filled with rc members, bout 10 of us were there, unlike last week where we only have 3 persons came early for jogging session. so its an improvement !! lets move on to the more interesting part - OUR EVALUATION !! thank goodness i passed!! got 73/80. kekeke! after some vocalization, we split into our own satb group, 4 in a group. and so we had another round of malaysian idol today. i dont know whether it is a good thing that we're the first group or not, but it went on quite well. doors closed, everyone except the 4 of us, the evaluator, cy, the pianist were left in the room. and then there we go singing all there songs. fortunely, for song no. 1 and 3, we dont have to sing acapella, we have piano accompaniment. which is better, as i wont go off pitch that easy. overall, it was ok, except for the part where our tenor got off rhythm, which affect me as well, but we're not allowed to stop, so we just continue and we stayed calm. once we're done, matt practically open the door and scream, 'I GOT IT, I GOT IT! WOO HOO !!' - apparently actions copied from malaysian idol hehehe! then it continued until group 6. oh ya, we even created our own lousy cheer from group 1, which is a bit lame i think. while waiting for the rest, the mood and the spirit slowly decended, at the beginning, all were busy singing and practising, but by the time when most of us are done with the evaluation, like when we reach group 5 or 6, most of us didnt care to sing anymore, hehe , in fact, we sat down and start talking. matt was showing his collection of piracy albums. hehe. oh ya, i missed out one highlight of our practise, which is during vocalization, we have this 'thing' about pointing your fingers to the opposite direction and walk towards it, but end up all sticking together. dont know how to put it in words, but it was really funny. cy was sweating there speechless. hehe !
