had a make up workshop with yk just now at bk. we are not going to have a make-up stylist to go with us to s'pore, so mel arrange today so that we could at least learn the basic of make-ups and also how we should apply eye shadow for our performance till then. i find it quite fruitful today, i learned more than i expect, there are just too many secrets and small tactics to make a face look beautiful. just a simple line, or just 2mm extra eyeliner, or simple touch of blusher totally change a person. also, he show us the right way to apply foundation, what is 2 way cake foundation, the correct brush movement for blusher, the zizle motion for eyelashes etc etc. im still considering whether or not to sign up for make up course after my internship ends. had a small talk with him after that, he said that if i were to just learn for personal use, its not advisable to actually pay that much for a course. just a few days workshop is enough already. might switch my plan to learn some ballroom dancing and other classical dance. inspired by the movie 'take the lead'. what do you say?
and before that, about 2.30pm, my group members and i were there practising for our evaluation tomorrow. this time around, we were more serious, really arrange for another practise to improve on our harmonization and other stuff. 4 of us, all from different parts, me from alto, hn from soprano, matt from bass and kc from tenor. i must say that we did improve a little today. at least the part where i used to go off pitch, is now not off pitch anymore. hopefully. hehe.
when i reach home, i joined my family, my extended family were also there, everyone were watching astro talent quest 2006 final. this is the 10th year that they have this competition for singer wannabes. a lot of changes compared to the way they handled it for all previous years. this year itself, i personally think that they've copied slightly from how the malaysian idol is handled. where each week they eliminate a person and all. but overall, im still very much interested to watch their final show, just like every year. i supported no 6 all the while, didnt really heard him sing before, was judging based on his good looks at first. hehe. but surprisingly, not only does he has good looks, he has a nice voice and very good stage showmanship. thats the thing that differentiates him from the rest. he's very confident, oh, he is also a very good dancer. was hoping that he would be the champion but sadly, the 'metalic' got it, making my no 6 to grab the 1st runner up position. anyway, im still proud of him! =)
