the commencement of internship

the big internship has begun! in fact im here at catcha on the 4th day, things has been, er, good i guess. so far, nothing bad happen yet (oh, can you be a little more optimistic) i have work on the first day, posting in latest news in a new website under catch and to post comments. repeated the same task on the second day, already felt boring doing the same thing again. well third day was the worst so far, i pratically have nothing to do from morning til 4.30pm, only got to know that i need to repeat the work i did yesterday. damn thats boring. anyway, the fun part was at night. JUICE have this client appreciation night at mezquite 52. so i was asked to be at the registration counter to distribute funky JUICE tags and to get all the guest to register their name. thats when this joker, a huge bald man wrote 'brad pitt from LA'. i didnt notice it at first, not until when i did the counting of money guest have came. hehe. it was just a party to thank all the clients for working with juice. participating in this event, i get to know more of the employees working here, like karen, lyecwan (pronounce as lai kuan, unique eh? hehe) and david. and that was when i found out that karen and lyecwan are both graduates from RMIT, just what i was looking now !! so i went on and asked them all about RMIT, is it good, nice and so on. they said that rmit is ok, just that the admin is quite inefficient at times, other than that its ok. so, im now reconsidering rmit again =)~ while i was there waiting for guests to come, there is this girl jessica, she is the lady in charge of registration for mezquite 52, cover charge and so on, got to her and chit chated for the rest of the night. had free coke + chivas that night and some mexican food. everything ended at about 10.30pm when my mum came.

as for today, i came in work at 11am, as to 'reimburse' my extra time working the previous night. =p was free until 2pm, followed david out to summit and conducted an interview with the designer of crazee causa. it was another new experience for me, conducting interview all on my own. but david was being very helpful, he guided me through the whole process. actually he can do it on his own, but he is asking me to do it and im glad ! hehe at least i dont have to stay at the office doing nothing !! ~after that, came back to the office and transcribe the interview that i recorded just now, passing it to him and he will write out the article. and guess what! it's 6.04pm already. my mum is waiting for me downstairs. see you tomorrow ! =)
