selamat berpuasa

it's ramadhan.... again! it feels like it was just yesterday... i remember this time of the year last year, i was still having classes in kdu.. and i see my friends like nat and shi dont even bother about fasting.. hehe! both of them are mix blood child, and their life are totally un-malay-ish... hehehe.. it's funny to see malays eating during ramadhan.. while some of them are like that, i also have friends who really follow this culture of fasting.. like my intern-mate here, soraya, she is a holy muslim girl. she goes for her prayers every day, yes, every.single.day. once in the afternoon at 1.30pm and once in the late afternoon at 4.30pm. well it goes without saying that she would do her prayers at home also, 5 times per day. imagine how much determination and discipline it would take a person to pray 5 times a day, and repeating it everyday. salute!! since the commencement of ramadhan, my lunch-mate was cute down to just two of us, mel and i. we always felt pity over so as she would have to stay in the office while both of us go out and eat happily. and yesterday we even tapau-ed back to the office and eat. hehehe! that's so mean!! but it's an exceptional case yesterday, we have lots of work to be done yesterday. and luckily so is ok with it, she's kind and patient and nice. we bought her a cupcake from ms read delicious yesterday to reimburse what we did to her in the afternoon =p
