no longer safe

i suddenly realize m'sia is no longer a safe place to stay. i was walking to the market one evening, at about 8pm, the street were quiet, not many people were walking. but anyhow, i saw little girl walking back from school, alone, young women walking back from work, alone, and something strike my mind. if that place were to be in m'sia, i guess i wouldnt dare to actually walk alone.
sigh, anyway, i should be proud of my own country, but not in terms of safety. here in hk, you would see policemen or security guards everywhere, spiritually and mentally it makes you feel safer. policemen would take mtr train from the first stop til the last to guard on the train. i wonder when this would happen to m'sia. =p
anyway, i will be leaving here soon. have to really plan my schedule for the next two months or not i will end up wasting time in vain.
