i was unofficially appointed as the assistant manager today.. lol! my manager was only here for a while this morning, telling me what and what to monitor. and that there is a new boy coming for training today and asked me to 'bully' him. hahaha! and that i have to stay and monitor the cashier and cash out as 'manager' at the end of the day. though ive already have experience on what to do to close down the cafe at the end of the day, but my manager will always be there to monitor things. sometimes i would forget little details like switching off the lights, or dismantle the ice cream opener and the least or course i havent cash out before. but because of the responsiblity that im given upon to, i have to make sure everything is done perfectly at the end of the day. i kept asking myself did i left out anything? what else? is that all? etc etc. the exciting part is counting the money, getting the total sales of the day.. muahahaha...! so much money on my hand.. ! =p anyway, not that im amazed by that, just a little maybe cause i never thought total sales for a day would be that much ! but the thing that i felt really good about is the trust that i gain from my manager, that he would leave the whole cafe for me to handle, though it's only for a day but still, im really amazed that he trusted me, especially with the money that the cafe earn for the day. =)
