my housemate is away with her family for a couple of days already.. im home alone, all by myself for a few days. she's going to be back in the morning, guess she is driving from sydney now..

class this morning was mundane, nothing much to talk about, except that i quite enjoy the screening class. we were shown 'the age of innocence' this morning. it's a very remarkable movie back in 1993. it was all about how the upper class people in new york assiciates and that there are many customs and traditions in this class. rules everything, the right social behavior and the social etiquette one should have. and the story is about a man trying to break free from such dreadful world, with too many dos and donts. and that how he fell in love with a woman who ran away from her husband, and the society thinks she is so much of a proprietor.
for tomorrow's seminar class, we have to choose which topic for our presentation at the end of the semester. i sort of found my groupmates already, but actually i wanted to do it with someone else, but since they asked first, i guess i have no reason to say no. i really hope that i can do well in this presentation. got to really choose a film that i fully understand inside out. the one on my toplist is tentatively 'Artificial intelligence', that's because i have the dvd with me and that it come perfectly with it's behind the scene dvd, which i think would help a lot in getting info about the movie, not just aspects on-screen but also facts off-screen.

oh by the way, my french housemate move out already! but i still keep in touch with her through email and skype. i helped her to move her things to her new apartment the other day, and i really thank her for giving me tuition on my french subject. haha ! it's quiet here since her moveaway. usually she would watch the tv at night, and sometimes at noon if she is free, but now its totally quiet! no one watches the tv anymore.

recently i found google and wikipedia really useful. not that i dont think that they are now useful before this, but since i got here, i started using them in regular basis. almost everyday i would day. i google everything, from the movies i watch in class, to looking for info for my assignments, to google things that i read in the papers but have no idea what is it. it's really a good tool to enhance one's knowledge.

two weeks ago, i met this twins in kaikan, they are also like me, the first batch to join jacaranda, but they join sokahan. they look really alike! totally the same!! BUT, luckily one of them has got a mole on his face, and that's how i differ them. now you see how important a mole can be. hahaha!!
