my lips is getting worst. argh !! i dont know whats wrong with it. sigh.. just had one antibiotic, hopefully it helps, or not i got to get to the pharmacy and get some help.

business wasnt good yesterday. as usual, my manager would buy me lunch, be it mecca or kamil's kebab. but yesterday, since it was so quiet, he decided to make something special. he bought lamb's leg from coles and tamarind from asian groceries. yes, he wants to make grill/roast lamb using out owen which we use to bake cinnamon scrolls. hahaha. he showed me how to make the paste with tamarind, with hot water, and mixing it with sugar, lemon and chili etc. it was really nice ! the lamb was nicely cooked, together with the paste. then we toast a turkish bread to have something to dip into the paste. very nice ! he gave me the other half of the tamarind, think im going to try it tomorrow or on monday.

by the way, i dont think sc will be closing down so soon. as long as the management couldnt get a buyer, we're going to continue the business. speaking of which, i plan to quit my job on the day that kiau is arriving. she'll be here for a week, and thereafer, i will be flying to brisbane with her for a week. by the time, i come back to melb, my class will be commencing soon. and if time permits, i plan to look for another job. on the other hand, ray and kim will be quitting as well, the same time as me. one is going back to korea, one is having exam. i just felt that its not so nice of us to quit at the same time. not to mention that we're consider the 3 senior staffs, as the rest are really new. hm... should i look for a new job?

yesterday's meeting at dontoo was interesting ! we have a new friend attending our meeting, and he has no idea what our religion is about. but he has a lot of knowledge on the history of buddhism, like the mahayana, hinayana and vadradata or something. and all the sutras and 8 fold and this and that. well, it turns out that i have no idea of what he is talking about. =p anyway, halfway through he started popping up questions, tough questions that if one's foundation is not strong, one would not be able to answer. we went from sakaymuni, to lotus sutra, to nichiren daishonin, to why lotus sutra is the supreme sutra so on and so forth. he also asked about the monarchy system in nichiren shoshu, why are we separated from the priesthood and things like that. wow !! it was really interesting !! all of us were trying to answer him to our best ability. though i didnt contribute much, but i manage to explain the differences between sakyamuni and nichiren daishonin. just a little. =p anyway, i guess all of us had a great discussion, it was a very peaceful discussion, we're not debating or anything like that. it's really hard to explain everything in just one meeting which less than 2 hours, i hope he will continue to attend our meeting in the future. and i realise how shallow my knowledge is in my religion. sigh...
